Associate Executive Director
Jessica brings over 20 years of experience in the non-profit and association management industry. Prior to joining Degnon, she provided executive leadership for a diverse portfolio of clients, including both trade associations and professional societies.
Jessica’s enthusiasm for the association industry began at the Philadelphia Convention and Visitor’s Bureau. While at the CVB, she was responsible for designing and facilitating a training program for over 500 volunteers for a national political convention, served on the Philadelphia 2000 Volunteer Committee as well as the Transportation Committee and created a system for post-convention reporting that provided an economic analysis on conventions in Philadelphia. A career opportunity then led her to manage a two-year centennial celebration for a society where she designed and organized over 40 events including an art and writing contest, gala, workshops, community forum, bike tour and an antique appraisal day. She also developed a communications strategy for the media and coordinated over 150 volunteers, 60 community organizations and government agencies.
Earning her Certified Association Executive (CAE) certification in 2012, Jessica brings a unique blend of strategic board management experiences, a passion for non-profits and a client-centered perspective to association management.
