Connie Mackay, CAE
Connie Mackay serves as Executive Director for one of Degnon Associate’s clients. In this role, she works to help the client create mechanisms to achieve goals set forth in its strategic plan. Connie provides leadership in developing programs, organizational and financial plans with the Board of Directors and staff, and in carrying out plans and policies. In her 14 years with this client, she has overseen millions of grant dollars, managed meetings ranging in size from 20 – 1000, and participated in the creation of numerous new programs. She achieves this by motivating staff and promoting active participation by volunteers in all areas of the organization’s work. Additionally, she maintains official records and documents, and ensures compliance with federal, state and local regulations. She possesses a strong working knowledge of the association industry, and keeps abreast of developments and trends in the field by participating in continuing education activities. Connie obtained the distinguished designation of Certified Association Executive (CAE), in December 2014.
